Helped my youngest son build a wind turbine model for a school project on green transition. Propeller was from a model airplane shop, tower and housing standard PVC tubing, generator a small electic motor. We tried a few different motors with different gearings, which nicely illustrated the gear system used in actual large turbines. Fun. Ping me for details.
